The focus of Thinksol quality and excellence initiative is to align measured process results to specific client outputs and business results. Various process architectures, their implementation, and assessment are the means to this objective. For example, compliance checks by the Software Quality Advisor for each engagement helps identify deviations from planned targets and highlights risks towards meeting them.

Subsequent analysis at the end of the engagement compares performance with goals and identifies any specific learning, all of which are documented in the Closure Analysis Report. The engagement also submits all plans, checklists/templates and tools developed to the Process Assets Database for reuse by other projects. These drive ongoing updates to process architectures and implementations - directly driven by market dynamics and changing client and technology needs.

Robust quality and excellence program must be supported by appropriate management systems and processes to implement such a program and realize desired benefits. Towards this, we have implemented a number of innovative custom-built systems that enable our quality and excellence programs. These applications integrate with a number of knowledge management and quality systems on our rich Intranet-based information infrastructure.
